PTO Membership

If you have a child that attends Cheshire, you already belong to the Cheshire PTO!  There is no fee to join the PTO.  We encourage every family to be active in the PTO whether by attending meetings, volunteering, donating money, or using a special talent to help our staff and students at Cheshire.  When we work together, our Cheshire Family thrives!

Our next PTO Meeting will be on September 11, 2018 in the CES library. Please join us!

We encourage all parents to attend.  Our meetings are family friendly; children are welcome to come with you to the meeting.  We recommend bringing a few toys, books, coloring supplies, or other quiet activies to help keep them entertained during the meeting.

Cheshire Holiday Market

The 2018 Cheshire Holiday Market will be on Saturday, December 1st from 10:00am-2:00pm. RETURNING VENDORS: Watch your email for information regarding applications and a chance to register early at a discounted rate! Applications for remaining spots will be open to new vendors soon as well!

Are you new to Cheshire?  First time parent of a Kindergartner or maybe just new to the school with older kiddos?  Feeling a little overwhelmed with the start of the school year and not really sure how to find out what all is going on?  Your Cheshire PTO board members are here for you!

There is a lot of really great info on our PTO Facebook page and the Cheshire PTO Website.  Both sites are great places to find out what is going on at the school from what pizza rotation is it this Wednesday to what events are going on.

The only way we can have so many amazing events for our kiddos is because of our amazing parent volunteers! The link below is where you can use to sign up to chair/co-chair an event, be on a committee for an event or simply volunteer.  You can look through this to see what events we are having this year.

The best way to connect is to get involved!  Our first PTO meeting is on September 11th 7-8pm in the school library.  Come hear Mr. Elkins talk for the first half hour! It is a great way to really hear what is going on in the school and connect with others!

2018-2019 Open House

WOW! Thank you to all the families that came out to open house! We hope you enjoyed meeting your teacher(s), enjoyed some yummy food and catching up with other parents. May the kids have the best year!

Cheshire PTO just received a check for $869.95, from Kroger community rewards.
Not familiar with Kroger Community Rewards, here is the skinny. Our school code is TP046.

What is Community Rewards?
Kroger Community Rewards makes fund-raising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card!
A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, you will need to ensure you have a Plus Card linked to your account. Then, go here to select an organization.
Please note, a Plus Card is required for the Kroger Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

How do I select an organization to support?
Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Kroger Community Rewards selection on your digital account.
Sign in to your digital account.
Go here to search for your organization
Enter the name or NPO number of the organization that you wish to support.
Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save.”
Your selected organization will now display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always find these details under your Account details.
Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program. It takes approximately 10 days for the Kroger Community Rewards total to begin displaying on your receipt.

Cheshire parents your love of Art and Kona Ice paid off. All the Kona's bought during the Art show, resulted in them sending a check to Cheshire PTO for $170.00. Thank You!

Purchasing Extra Supplies

Hello Cheshire Parents! It’s hard to believe that in just two weeks our kiddos will be back in school. While you are out finishing up your back to school shopping, would you consider picking up a few extra supplies? Every year in February we ask parents to donate items to help the teachers replenish their supplies that have been depleted. Last year we asked for...

Glue Sticks
Crayola Crayons
Crayola Markers
Dry Erase Markers
Post-it Notes
Pencils (Ticonderoga brand preffered)

Since all the supplies are out, this would be a great time to stock up and hold on to them for February.
